Fashion crazy~!

Yet another big-buckle-i-like!

"I had a lot of difficulties speaking in a chinese congregation. All I could say was, "Wo men, Ni men, Ta men, A men!"

Ok, I simply dont understand why there are more than 1 person commenting that I am metro... Haha~ at first, I kinda embraced the idea that perhaps I was indeed a metro, by liking to wear floral patterns and slimmer cuts, but as the fad faded off, I realised I am more of a bargain warrior than a spendthrift. I simply treasure my own money and you know, if I dont get to wear a piece I like every other day, wouldnt that be just a waste? Apparently, as I first started on this fashion awareness idea, I spent quite a bit on one piece wonders, many of them not appealing to my taste. I guess by saying this, I am implying that I wont be spending money on clothes anymore. Nah. It only means I take a longer time deciding whether to buy a piece or not. I like trying new things gradually. I am an indie dresser! hahaha~ if YS sees this, he'll probably puke blood.. hahaha

So anyway, when Singapore is hyping up its Fashion Festival this week in line with new spring/summer collection, I thought walking down Orchard Road with my mum (AKA piggybank) would be the good idea last Sunday, while the little demon was having his tuition at Forum Shopping Mall.

Its amazing to see how the fashion apparel changed their wardrobes. Whatever that was from the winter collections were swiped out and replaced with brand new set of clothes from the spring/summer collection. There were many inviting eye candies out there. I took my rounds at Zara, Topman, Guess, Esprit and FCUK. I was very amazed with Zara and Guess, particularly Guess. Well, although their guys wardrobe has shrunk to half of its original size, they have yet amazed me with more big buckle belt design, cool Rock tee-shirts, a pair of blue cardigan and many others. Zara was kinda refreshing as well, with nice raw jeans and tees. Topman was kinda predictable, with an attempt to splash a whole array of colours on their tops. Sadly, it was their cheap skinny jeans which left me a better impression. But with too many of their jeans, I was afraid I may be a walking topman advertisement? Esprit was once again boring with their usual cuts and FCUK was as disappointing as usual. Astonishingly, G-Star, which was a big hype in magazines, weren't very creative either this season.

(By now, if YS has been reading this, he will probably be slamming his head on the table due to my lack of fashion taste)

I left empty handed, with almost buying a pair of black pants and a polo, but my brother was done with tuition and the queue was long and slow. My mum, however, bought a black 2-piece funny complicated top which she said took her a while to wear the thing. It was funny why she selected that particular piece cos it looked rather younger for her. But she got it at a discount, and it was rather cheap, so lucky her.

Took some shots of the stuff i tried on in the wardrobe though.. perhaps trying new styles? haha~ ok, it got to be funny taking a few pictures of myself in a dressing room.. But hey, I like trying out outfits, and if it looks good, then why not buy it at a good deal? You help me judge, and if you think you got better suggestions, then help me! hahahaha~

hmm.. somehow i kinda like this shirt.. perhaps I can go out for a checkered shirt?

Hmm.. I kinda like the cardigan from Guess.. Too bad it costs $95 dollar.. and yep, I know this outfit looks kinda weird.. either need to have a collar shirt or at least a scarf?

I nearly had this! But as i look at it more, it was a relief i didnt get it in the end. The stripes at the sleeve just made it overly-styled. I want a plainer concept.. just the checks in the middle..
